Salman F Rahman eyes new frontiers to conquer in the New Year

Salman F Rahman, the top-notch business personality who has successfully led Beximco Group to become the biggest corporate house in Bangladesh is now eyeing new opportunities in the coming times. New Year brings with it new avenues to conquer and new challenges to face. This visionary is always looking for ways to explore the potential of the private sector and expand its capabilities. His aim has always been to make the economy of his country stronger and improve the lives of his compatriots.

In the post-political unrest scenario in Bangladesh, the country is eager to rebuild its economy and turn back the tide. Salman F Rahman is among the most prominent spokespersons who want to see business in the country getting back on the track and making profits as before. As he recently said, Beximco Group single-handedly generates thousands of employment opportunities for Bangladeshi nationals and he wants this to continue this year as well.

The man, who single-handedly transformed the capabilities of Beximco from a minor trading company to becoming the biggest conglomerate in Bangladesh, still has lots to achieve. He began with export of crushed bones and seafood to Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, and the UK, and later he expanded to manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. Later, he forayed into the banking sector; where he later purchased over 30% shares at IFIC Bank. Over time, his business expanded with an industrial park, ceramic and textile factories, resorts and hotels.

Salman F Rahman loves to don many hats. On one hand, he is the most successful business person in Bangladesh, while on the other; he dabbled with politics, is a stock manipulator, a TV mogul, and a philanthropist par excellence.

His contributions to the Bangladesh's economy remain unparalleled, and today he intends to take his country onto a new, glorious path of success. One of the first entrepreneurs to realize the potential and resilience inherent in the business sector, he understands the importance of re-building his nation’s image with apt projection on the international platform; followed by boosting of commodity sales.

In the recent times, Beximco Group has struck deals as part of expansion plans of its manufacturing and ceramics capacity. What else Salman F Rahman has in store for the corporate sector and the financial condition of the country however, is only a matter of speculation for now.
